In honour of Babu Gulabrai, a Hindi writer born on January 17, 1888, in Etawah. Following his MA in Philosophy and LLB from Agra University. He was a contemporary Hindi writer. He also started a literary magazine, Sahitya Sandesh. He was a writer and essayist. His language was a Sanskritized form of Hindi. The Government of India issued a 5-rupee postal stamp in June 2002 to recognize his contribution to Hindi literature.

His work, Hindi Sahitya Ka Subodh Itihaas, which has been read by countless people throughout the years, is now in its record-breaking 47th edition. Meri Asaphaltayen, his autobiography, is one of the pioneering examples in Hindi literature in that genre.
