From 31st July 2018, the circulation of all Netherlands Antillean guilder banknotes issued from 1986 to 1994 has stopped completely. These notes lost their legal tender status from 1st August 2018.
NAf. 5, NAf. 10, NAf. 25, NAf. 50, NAf. 100 and NAf. 250 banknotes from the native birds’ series without the gold-coloured foil print fall under the above-mentioned category. People who currently have banknotes that were issued from 1986-1994 have been asked to get them exchanged for the latest versions. Old notes can be exchanged at the CBCS in Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
