The Royal Canadian Mint has released a set of silver coins depicting Bald Eagle. This bird of prey is depicted on the reverse of a 99.99% pure silver coin. The set holds four different sized Bald Eagle silver proof coins. Only 7,500 such sets are struck with an estimated price of CAD $199.95 and US $160.90 per set. Coin description: Obverse: Portrait of Elizabeth II and the Legend ‘ELIZABETH II, D G REGINA’ around with the denomination of the coin. Reverse: Side portrait of the bald eagle looking off into the distance to right. The inscription ‘CANADA, 2015, 9999 FINE SILVER and ARGENT PUR 9999’ surrounds the eagle. The artist’s initials DCW (Derek C. Wicks) is inscribed below the eagle.
