The given gold Padmatanka coin belongs to Yadavas of Devagiri. It weighs around 3.8 grams. The obverse of the coin has six punches, a lotus in a centre, two Kannada; ‘Sri’ a shankha shell, a small seated Nandi and the legend ‘Shri Amana’ above a horizontal Trishula in Devanagari legend.This got sold for INR 3,60,000 in the Classical Numismatics Gallery.
