Market Value of New £5 Prince Philip Coin Could Rise
2017-08-09 Wed
The £5 Prince Philip coin that was released to celebrate his 70 years of service can be pre-ordered for £13 through the Royal Mint. A Latin text on the coin reads ‘NON SIBI SED PATRIAE’ which translates to ‘Not for himself but for his country’. Experts believe that its market value could increase in the long run. £5 Duke of Edinburgh coins that were released in 2011 for his 90th birthday are also being sold for higher prices since only 18,730 pieces were available in the presentation packs. Some of these coins have been sold for more than £65 on sites such as eBay. Many others have been sold for more than £100.Latest News
