Special Panda Medals to be Sold at ANA’s Coin Show

PandaAmerica released several medals along with the American Numismatic Association World’s Fair of Money in Denver which will take place between 1st and 5th August. The medal features a panda against a Bamboo on the obverse while the reverse features "Rocky Mountains". The reverse has a text that celebrates ANA’s 126th anniversary. The release has been a part of the effort to popularise the show in Asia. The medals will be a permanent part of the Panda collection.A 30 grams Proof .999 fine silver medal and a Proof ringed-trimetallic piece composed of copper, brass, and copper-nickel sections are available. Two piedfort versions are expected to be delivered from China in a few days. The standard examples have a mintage limit of 888 while the piedfort versions have a mintage limit of 100 each.
These medals had a great demand at the Singapore International Coin Fair as well. A good number of these medals have been reserved to be sold exclusively at the show, even though there has already been a demand online. The ringed-trimetallic medals cost $39 each while the silver medals cost $99 each.
