Commemorative Banknotes Featuring late King Bhumibol Adulyadej

Bank of Thailand will be circulating new commemorative banknotes to honour late King Bhumibol Adulyadej from 20th September according to Governor Veerathai Santiprabhob. The new notes will come in five denominations – 20 baht, 50 baht, 100 baht, 500 baht and 1,000 baht. They will be circulated like other ordinary bank notes.People will be allowed to exchange their regular banknotes for the new commemorative note without any limits at all branches of Siam Commercial Bank, Government Savings Bank, Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives, Government Housing Bank and Islamic Bank of Thailand.
