Highlights from Heritage Auctions at the FUN Sale

Heritage Auctions is going to offer a 1932-D Washington quarter dollar, graded MS-65, with a green CAC sticker, from Denver Mint and San Francisco Mint at the upcoming FUN sale. These coins are low-mintage keys for the series. The Michael C. Hollen Collection of interesting Lincoln cents and Washington quarter dollars will also be offered. Only 16 such highly graded coins exist today. The coin boasts of good lustre and light delicate toning. 1932 was when the first Washington quarter was released.A 1909-S Lincoln, V.D.B. cent, MS-66 red with old green-label PCGS holder is also offered. Designer Victor David Brenner’s initials are seen on the coins that were issued in this year from San Francisco Mint. The coin features a bright red Mint colour and little carbon specks.
One of the nine 1893-S Morgan dollars, graded PCGS AU-55 is another highlight at the auction. Similar AU-55 examples have been sold for $45,000. A PCGS MS-61 coin was sold for $176,250 by Heritage at the Long Beach auction.
