Petitioner Wants Gold and Silver to be Treated as Currency

A new petition created on 24th January by a user named J.C seeks the same currency status to be given to gold and silver that is currently given to paper U.S. dollars and circulating coins. 100,000 signatures are required to get an official response from the White House. The petitioner wants to stop tax discrimination against gold and silver like capital gains tax.
