Gold Mohur of Akbar Minted at Muhammadabad urf Udaipur

Mughals failed to expel Maharana Pratap.When the Mughal Empire shifted its focus elsewhere, Maharana Pratap and his army reclaimed the western regions of his domain, including Udaipur. Udaipur briefly fell into the clutches of the Mughal Empire.
Akbar issued this gold Mohur of 10.85 from mint Muhammadabad Urf Udaipur in Hijri Year 984. The obverse features Kalima, and the reverse is inscribed Jalal ud-Din Muhammad Akbar Badshah Gazi, Zarb Muhammadabad urf Udaipur Maftooha.
