Soldiers are important assets for any nation; they guard their nations and protect their citizens at all costs. They fulfill their duties devoting their entire life to the nation's security. They sacrifice their family and lay down their entire lives and service for the protection of the motherland.

Every citizen must respect Indian soldiers. The government of India issued this commemorative stamp in 1966 to pay respect to Indian soldiers and martyrs of our country. It is the duty of every citizen to provide their support and voluntary contribution, providing care, support, rehabilitation and financial aid.
