The Homestead National Monument is one of the historical sites of the United States of America. It is situated in the north-eastern region of Nebraska. This national park was established in the year 1936 CE. It is a unit of the National Park System, commemorates the passage of the Homestead Act of 1862, during that time it was allowed that any qualified person who wanted to claim up to 160 acres of federally owned land in exchange for five years of residence and the cultivation and improvement of the property. But later, this act was eventually transferred 270,000,000 from the public to private. The United States of America had given a change to its citizen to fulfil their dreams of owning their own house.
The United States of America had issued this commemorative quarter dollar with the theme of Homestead National Monument in the year 2015. The reverse of this coin depicts three fundamentals of survival common to all homesteaders: food, shelter, and water.
