A new coin of denomination one hundred is going to be issued with the Image of the former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This coin will soon be launched to commemorate the life and work of the legendary Prime minister of Republic India He passed away at the age of 93 on 16 August 2018.

According to the sources, the design of this coin will consist of a portrait of Mr. Vajpayee with birth and death years 1924 and 2018 are inscribed in Devanagari as well as in English.

The obverse side of this coin will illustrate the national emblem with ‘Satyameva Jayate’ inscribe along with ‘Bharat’ and ‘India’ on both sides. The symbol and the denominational value of 100 will be written below the symbol.
