Ustad Sabri Khan was responsible for making Sarangi popular across the world. He was invited to play on the eve of Independence Day in Parliament House. He also played for an ill Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, as a part of Music Therapy. The recipient of Padma Bhushan played at sangeet Sammelans all over India and also performed with veteran musician and violinist, Yehudi Menuhin. The Ustad’s son, Kamal Sabri was delighted to receive the news and expressed his gratitude towards the officials.
