Lyndon Baines Johnson was born on 27th August 1908 in Stonewall, Texas, United States. He completed his graduation from Southwest Texas State Teachers College (now Texas State University-San Marcos).

Lyndon Baines Johnson had served his country as 36th President of United States from the year 1963 to 1969. He had also served his country as 37th Vice President from the year 1961 to 1963; he assumed the presidency following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

The presidency of Lyndon Baines Johnson was marked by successes in the civil rights movement, the war on poverty, inequality in education, voting rights and conservation, environmental and consumer protection laws, gun control, and the creation of Medicaid and Medicare. In the year 1964; One of his prominent vision was to launch an ambitious slate of progressive reforms aimed at creating a “Great Society” for all Americans; his agenda was America will be one of the most ambitious and far-reaching nation’s history.
