Baz Bahadur was the last Sultan of Malwa Sultanate. He ruled Malwa Sultanate form 1555 CE till 1562 CE. He is also known for his romantic connection with Roopmati. Roopmati was a Hindu singer, Both Baz Bahadur and Roopmati fell in love with each other and later they both got married.Baz Bahadur ruled Malwa Sultanate almost for seven years. In these seven years, he issued coins in silver and copper. In silver, he issued denominations like Double Tanka and Tanka. In copper, he issued denominations like Falus, Half-Falus and Quarter-Falus. Double Tanka he issued weighs around 13.6-14.1g, and Tanka he issued weighs around 7g. Copper Falus weighs around 7.1-7.3g, and Half-Falus issued by him weighs around 3.4-3.5g. Quarter-Falus issued by him weighs around 1.7g.
This copper falus was issued by Baz Bahadur. The obverse of this coin is inscribed with name and title of Baz Bahadur. The reverse of the coin is inscribed with the mint name.
