United States Mint started selling the first of three Presidential $1 Coin & First Spouse Medal Sets for 2016, featuring Richard M. Nixon, the 37th President of the United States, and his wife Patricia Ryan Nixon, on March 3rd.

Sets include an uncirculated quality Richard M. Nixon Presidential $1 Coin and a Pat Nixon First Spouse Bronze Medal. Both are presented in a protective plastic card that features portraits of the President and Mrs. Nixon, their signatures, historical information, and a certificate of authenticity.

Similar bronze medals of Pat Nixon First Spouse Gold Coins were introduced on 18th February. First Spouse Gold Coins are produced at West Point Mint from one-half ounce of .9999 fine gold.
