BEP Introduces $2 Lucky Panda

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing has introduced a $2 Lucky Panda as a part of its Lucky Money Collection. The $2 Lucky Panda is designed with Chinese symbolism and comes inside a red folder with embossed, gold foil. It contains a $2 Federal Reserve note with a serial number beginning with “888”. The $2 Lucky Panda represents characteristics such as peace, harmony, and friendship.A maximum of 500 such products can be ordered by one household from 10th July to 18th July 2018. These limitations would be relaxed on 17th July 2018. A total of 106,888 this product is available for sale from 10th July at 8 am. ET.
Another product in the offering is a $1 Fortune Note with a serial number starting with “8888”. It comes inside a beautiful folder that features Chinese-inspired art. Another $1 “168” Prosperity Forever Note depicts a serial number beginning with “168”. There is Chinese artwork on the packaging.
The Lucky Money Collection also includes the Year of the Dog 2018 $1 Note. The Dog is one of 12 zodiac signs from the Chinese Lunar Calendar. This product is also designed using Chinese symbolism and comes in a red folder with embossed, gold foil. This product includes an uncirculated $1 Federal Reserve note with a serial number starting with “8888”. The Year of the Dog 2018 represents good fortune, prosperity, and success in the New Year. 108,888 such products are available for sale and each one can be purchased for $5.95.
