King Rama X on the Banknotes of Thailand

Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, also known as Rama X, is the current King of Thailand since 2016. He is the tenth monarch of the Chakri Dynasty and also the oldest Thai monarch to ascend the throne. The Bank of Thailand will be issuing currency notes depicting their king Rama X.The 20, 50 and 100 Baht notes will be released on the 236th Anniversary of the founding of the Chakra dynasty - 6th April 2018. The 500 and 1,000 Baht notes will be issued on the King's birthday - 28th July 2018.
