APMEX, Inc. released a new coin in the Call of the Wild Series from the Royal Canadian Mint. The 2018 .99999 fine Gold, Golden Eagle Coin is popular among investors and collectors because of its elegant design and high Gold content.
.9999 fine Gold is the standard everywhere for Gold coins. However, in 2007, the RCM introduced a special three-year series of .99999 fine Gold Maple Leaf coins.
The design features a golden eagle with detailed feathers and an open beak. Other inscriptions include weight and purity, maple leaf privy mark and a common line design that is featured on all Call of the Wild coins. The obverse depicts Queen Elizabeth II, face value $200 and 2018. The coin is packaged in a well-designed assay card.
The series was launched in 2014. Several animals found in Canada like a wolf, cougar, grizzly bear, and elk have been depicted on coins from this series.
