10 Scottish Euro Polymer Notes to be Issued

The United Kingdom keeps up with the polymer trend with the latest release of a 10 Euros note by Clydesdale Bank of Scotland. These notes will go into production at the end of this year will be circulated in 2017.Like usual, the obverse of the note will feature Robert Burns, the great Scottish romantic poet known as the Bard of Ayrshir, but with slight variations in the design. Burns earned the title “history’s greatest Scotsman” through a poll sponsored by a television network. The reverse will have views of Edinburgh and its most loved castle.
On Burns’ birth anniversary, January 25th, this news was made public. This will be Clydesdale Bank’s second polymer note, following the 5 Euro note which was introduced last year.
