Peninsular Malaysia is a federal constitutional monarchy at the southernmost part of the Asian continent and East Malaysia is in the northern part of the island of Borneo. It was a British colony which got independence on 31st August 1957. Malaysia is known for its biodiversity and boasts of numerous species of plants and animals.Malaysia released a popular set of eight bird topical stamps on 9th September 1965. Even though these stamps are neither costly nor rare, there is a lot of demand for them. This set, in mint never-hinged condition, is listed with a value of $68.95 in the 2018 Scott Standard Postage Stamp Catalogue. You can also buy them in unused hinged condition for around $35.
