George Rogers Clark National Historical Park Quarter to be Released on 14th November

The US Mint will be launching the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park quarter on 14th November at Riverfront Pavilion, 102 N 2nd St., Vincennes, IN 47591. The special ceremony will also have performances by the George Rogers Clark Fife and Drum Corps and Vogel Elementary School Choir. US Mint Artistic Infusion Program artist Frank Morris, designer of the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park quarter, will also attend the show along with several other important dignitaries. $10 rolls of the new coins will be available for exchange.A coin forum will be held on the evening of 13th November at the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park Visitor Center, 401 S. 2nd St., Vincennes, Indiana. People can know about planned coin programs and initiatives, and share their views about future coinage.
The 12-year United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters® Program honours 56 national parks and other authorised national sites. Five new national sites will be featured on the reverses of the America the Beautiful Quarters every year. These quarters will be released in the order in which the national sites were established.
