APMEX, Inc. released two new coins 1 oz Proof Silver coin and a 1 oz Gold coin in the Perth Mint Silver Swan series. The designs of both these coins are similar to the first coin released in the series with new looks.
The 2017 1 oz .9999 fine Silver Swan bullion coins were released on 3rd April and were sold out within two days. Special Proof version of this coin has been released with a lowered mintage limit of 2,500 coins. The 1 oz .9999 fine Gold Coin has a mintage of 5,000.
The Swan Series has become very popular among collectors as well as investors just like Kookaburra and Koala coins. Demand for the older coins will keep increasing as and when new coins are released due to their limited mintage and highly detailed designs.
The reverse features a swan swimming on water. The ripples in the water are shown under the legend of the coin. Other inscriptions include Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark. The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination.
