Status of Enhanced Uncirculated Coin Set Changed to ‘Currently Unavailable’ Within Minutes

The status of the 2017 Enhanced Uncirculated Coin set was changed to “currently unavailable” within a few minutes after the coins were released on 1st August. The set was also offered at the U.S. Mint booth of the American Numismatic Association World’s Fair of Money in Denver. Sales areas of the Philadelphia and Denver Mints, Mint headquarters in Washington, D.C are also offering the same set.The sets went on sale at 10 a.m. MT. There was an ordering restriction of 20 sets per transaction after which they could come back to the sales counter to buy more. The sets were available exclusively at physical locations on 1st August at 1 pm. At the ANA convention, at 1 pm, 100 people were waiting to buy the sets. The purchase limit at the show was 500 sets per person.
