Personalised Postage Stamps for Zoo Visitors

The Department of Post is planning to join hands with National Zoological Park to set up My Stamp counter on the Delhi Zoo. The idea is to sell personalised postage stamps to zoo visitors for creating awareness about wildlife conservation. The stamp templates will feature photographs of various birds and animals. A picture of the visitor with their favourite animal or bird enclosure can also be featured on the personalised stamp. The complete details of the project have not been finalised.My Stamp is a brand name for personalised sheets of commemorative postage stamps of India Post. It is now possible for everyone to have his/her own stamp through My Stamp facility. These stamps can be a part of detachable regular postage stamp and can be used for mailing purposes.
A sheet with 12 personalised stamps at the zoo will cost Rs 300. The visitors can choose from different templates for the stamps in the denomination of Rs 5.
