No Clarity on New 1000 Rupees Coins
2017-07-28 Fri
There is a big confusion on whether the government will scrap the newly launched Rs 2,000 note and introduce Rs 1,000 coins or not. Questions are being raised by the opposition party regarding this in the Rajya Sabha, but there are no clear answers. There have been reports that the RBI has been given the order to stop printing 2000 Rupees bank notes. 3.2 lakh crore pieces of Rs 2,000 notes have already been printed. Some officials claim that the decision to stop printing 2,000 rupees notes is taken by the RBI. The opposition party is still trying to seek clarity on this topic.Latest News
