10 Rupees Coins Not Accepted by Shopkeepers and Banks in Siliguri

Shopkeepers in Siliguri are not accepting payments in coins for a long time. Not just that, even banks have stopped accepting them. A notice was submitted by the District Congress to the District Magistrate seeking a solution to this problem. A similar notice has been submitted by SUCI to Jalpaiguri Central Bank’s Manager. The Committee’s Chairman, Sujit Ghosh has demanded the issue should be resolved as early as possible.Latest News
