Australian Trilogy Coin Collection Worth $1.8 million Finally Finds a Collector

One-of-its-kind Australian Trilogy coin collection by the Perth Mint, worth $1.8 million has been sold finally. The mint collaborated with Rio Tinto and Argyle Pink Diamonds to produce this collection which has precious metals like gold and platinum along with rare natural coloured diamonds from the Argyle Diamond Mine in Kimberley.Diamond connoisseurs, investors and collectors across the world have been eyeing this beauty after it was unveiled by the Premier of Western Australia, Mark McGowan MLA in June. It was sold via Singapore-based rare and precious stones dealer company Glajz-THG Pte Ltd to an unknown Asian collector.
The coin designs portray Australia’s unique wildlife, rural landscapes and natural treasures. It will be showcased at the Perth Mint Shop until 31st July.
