The 10th Wapler Special Auction (Thematik & Postgeschichte) is taking place on 8th July at Christian Wapler Thematische Philatelie, Postfach 30 42 04, 10 757 Berlin-Schöneberg, Germany. It deals completely with the collection of thematic stamps. The Auction will take place in two parts: Martin Luther ‘500 years of Reformation’ and Pleasure A-Z’.

The First part will take place on the occasion of the Martin Luther “500 years of the Reformation’. The auction includes the history of Martin Luther, the Reformation, the prehistory and the consequences. In this auction, you will find around 900 documents, including private items, special, advertising and machine stamps, documents, emergency money, postcards and a Luther-telegram, etc.

The second part includes the "Pleasure A - Z". The second part covers the following topics: alcohol, beer, wine, sparkling wine, sugar, sweets including chocolate, cakes, coffee, tea, tobacco, and smoking as well as pharmacy (drugs), drugs and drug addiction. In total, you will find around 1000 lots of decorative covers and stamps in this auction.
