The Isle of Man issued a new set of six stamps on 29th June celebrating the work of the Manx BirdLife census by wildlife artist Jeremy Paul. This is the 11th time for which Paul’s artwork has been used on Manx stamp issues. The latest set features oystercatcher, eider, little tern, fulmar, black guillemot and razorbill. The Island is home to several coastal and seabirds and the artist had a hard time in choosing birds for the stamp designs. Paul believes that his selection is a representation of the variety of birds which are found in the islands. He is extremely excited about the new stamps which are all set to travel the world around.
