The launch ceremony of 2017 Ellis Island National Monument quarter dollar will take place on 30th August, 11 am, at the flagpole area near the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. A coin forum will take place at 12.30 pm at the same venue. After the launch ceremony, members of the public can exchange cash for $10 face value, 40-coin rolls of Uncirculated circulation-quality 2017-P quarter dollars.

The reverse design features an immigrant family coming near Ellis Island. In the background, you can see the hospital building. The coin will be circulated officially on 28th August. It will be the 39th of 56 coins to be issued in the America the Beautiful Quarters program which will end in 2021.
