Sale of Uncirculated 5-ounce Silver Ozark National Scenic Riverways Coins Begins

Sale of the Uncirculated 2017-P Ozark National Scenic Riverways 5-ounce silver quarter dollar began from 11th July. The mintage limit is 25,000 pieces and each coin costs $149.95. There are no household ordering limits.The 5-ounce .999 fine silver coins are available in different versions. A Proof .900 fine silver version and a circulation-quality collector copper-nickel clad version Minted at San Francisco Mint are also available. Copper-nickel clad versions from Denver and Philadelphia Mints for annual Uncirculated Mint sets and in circulation quality versions are available.
The press at the Philadelphia Mint used for making bullion versions of the 5-ounce silver quarter dollars is used for striking the Uncirculated 5-ounce silver coins. The Uncirculated 5-ounce version features the P Mint mark of the Philadelphia Mint, and the Uncirculated coin has a post-strike finish.
The reverse of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways quarter dollars depicts an image of the Alley Mill in Eminence, Mo. The weight and silver fineness are inscribed on the edge.
