The Sale of Uncirculated 2017-W American Eagle 1-ounce gold $50 coin will begin on 1st June. There is no limit to household order or products and each coin costs $1,575. The pricing will vary between $1,250 and $1,299.99 depending on the market price of gold. The coins are struck at the West Point Mint and feature W Mint mark on the obverse.

The U.S. Mint introduced the Uncirculated finish with W Mint mark for the American Eagle 1-ounce .9167 fine gold coin in 2006 and the latest 2017 edition is the 11th in the series.

Sale of the Uncirculated versions of the gold and silver American Eagles with W Mint mark begins during the 20th anniversary of the American Eagle series. These coins have been released annually. In 2009 though, the coin was not released as 1-ounce planchets were reserved for the production of bullion coins, without Mint marks. Proof American Eagle 1-ounce gold and silver coins were not issued in 2009 as well.
