Peru issued its first stamps in 1857 after it got independence from Spain in 1821. Latin American stamps including stamps from Peru have become extremely popular over the years.

Peru issued a set of three Llama stamps in 1866-67. llama vignettes and decorative frames are line engraved. Llamas belong originally to Andean region of South America, and fauna topical collectors absolutely love these stamps. They have a market value of $56 and are worth it totally.
