Shanghai Mint Museum Showcases Bowker Collection Chinese Coins

The Shanghai Mint Museum was opened in 2004 and is located at 17 West Guangfu Rd, inside the Shanghai Mint. The Mint structure was designed and built like that of the Philadelphia Mint in 1920.One of the four exhibition halls at the Shanghai Mint Museum is dedicated to a collection of amazing Chinese coin that belonged to Howard Franklin Bowker. Bowker’s family donated the coins to the museum after his death. These coins are on display at the newly opened gallery.
