Famous Coin Dealer and Auction House Owner James Ruddy Dies

On 12th April, James F. Ruddy, one of the most famous coin auction house owners of the 20th century and the author of the 1970 Photograde, died due to an illness. He also became the co-founder of Bowers and Ruddy Galleries in 1973.Mr. Ruddy began collecting in 1953 and joined the American Numismatic Association as a life member in 1954. Ever since then he has been actively involved in various numismatic events and auctions. He attained several remarkable milestones in the field of numismatics.
