A 2015-W American Liberty, High Relief gold $100 coin, graded Mint State 70 Prooflike was sold for $5,885 on 6th November 2016 by GreatCollections auctions. 60 Percent of 50,000 coins were sold in 75 minutes on 30th July 30 for $1,490 each. By the end of 2015, sales reduced drastically and thousands of coins were left unsold. Currently the mintage stands at 49,325.

Only 21 of these coins are graded MS-69 Prooflike and 122 are graded MS-70 Prooflike. Some of the coins have Prooflike contrast even though no Proof versions were minted.
