A $1 million denomination Canadian 100 kg .99999 fine gold coin was stolen overnight by thieves from the Bode Museum in Berlin. Is one of the six 1 kg gold coins made in 2007 by the Royal Canadian Mint which has a net worth of almost $4 million. As per official reports, many criminals were involved. A wheelbarrow was probably used to steal the coin at around 3:30 a.m. local time on 27th March. The coin was safely kept in a bullet-proof glass inside the building. A ladder was found on train tracks and a window was broken through which the thieves sneaked into the museum.

The obverse depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the reverse features three maple leaves. It took 6 weeks to design each of these six coins. The stolen coin is the most expensive world bullion coin for trade.
