NGC has now certified 2,000,000 Chinese coins in just 18 months, a feat that no other third-party coin grading service has achieved so far. NGC opened an Official Submission Center in Guangzhou in 2008. They have invested millions of dollars for enhancing their services in China. They recently set up a 15,000 square feet office in Xintiandi District of Shanghai with the latest security and climate-control features. NGC officials aim towards increasing their reach further in the coming years.

Out of the 2,000,000 Chinese coins that NGC has graded, three were sold for more than $1,000,000 apart from many other vintage and modern coins. Over 1,000,000 Chinese Panda coins have been sold as they have become popular among collectors all over the world. Officials stated that a lot of effort has been put in by Official Submission Centres, Strategic Partners and Authorized Dealers.

NGC has five Official Submission Centres in China at Guangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing and Xi’an.
