Romania issued a new stamp featuring flowers with flags, maps and scenic views on 17th February. Flowers are depicted as national symbols by many countries and the latest 1.50-leu stamp by Romania features the country’s national flower, the peony. The other stamps depict flags of the respective countries along with their floral emblems. Moldova’s 4 lei stamp features basil, Croatia’s 8 lei stamp features Iris croatica and Bulgaria’s rose is depicted on the 15 lei stamp. They are designed by Razvan Popescu, printed in sheets of 32; panes of five stamps and a label.
