Rowan Sebastian Atkinson, of Mr. Bean fame just celebrated his 61st birthday on 6th January.

He is an English actor, comedian, and screenwriter best known for his work on the sitcoms Blackadder and Mr. Bean. He was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest actors in British comedy in a 2005.

USA and the Democratic Republic of Congo have issued stamps to honour Rowan Atkinson, the man who made us laugh for 30 years without even uttering a word!

USA has issued a 41 cent commemorative stamp in 2009 and the Democratic Republic of Congo issued a commemorative stamp of denomination 1.00 FC in 2001. Both the stamps depict the amazingly hilarious facial expressions of Rowan Atkinson as Mr. Bean.
