The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is one of India's most significant social security organizations. It operates under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

ESIC provides a comprehensive social security system for Indian workers, offering health insurance and cash benefits in cases of sickness, maternity, disablement, and employment-related injuries or death.

To commemorate this milestone, the Government of India issued a ?75 commemorative coin for the 75th Foundation Day of ESIC. The coin weighs 35 grams and is made of a quaternary alloy (50% silver, 40% copper, 5% nickel, and 5% zinc).
