The sale of 2017 American Eagle 22-karat Gold Proof Coins began on 2nd March. Each coin comes in a protective capsule and a satin-lined velvet presentation case with a Certificate of Authenticity. There is no mintage limit and the coins will be produced based on the demand. Pricing will be based on the United States Mint Gold Coin Pricing Grid. The obverse features Augustus Saint-Gaudens' full-length figure of Liberty with flowing hair, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse features an eagle holding an olive branch flying above a nest with another eagle and eaglets.
