“He lives with his creativity in high gear” –John Travolta.

John Travolta born in Englewood, New Jersey was one of the six children of Helen Travolta and Samuel. His mother, an actress herself, enrolled him in a drama school in New York, where he studied voice, dancing, and acting. He combined all these three skills and become a musical comedy performer. At 16 he landed his first professional job in a summer stock production of the musical "Bye Bye Birdie".

Besides shows, he has also starred in a number of monumental films that have earned him Oscar nominations and Golden Globe awards like Saturday Night Fever (1977), Grease (1978), Pulp Fiction (1994), Get Shorty (1995) and the wildly successful Urban Cowboy (1980), etc. In February 2011, he was honored by HORZU with the prestigious Golden Camera Award for "Best Actor International" in Berlin, Germany. In 1988, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Chicago Film Festival.

John’s love for aviation has earned him 2 prestigious aviation awards: the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Foundation Award (2003) and The Living Legends Ambassador of Aviation award (2007). He holds 11 jet licenses in all and had piloted the original Qantas 707 during "Spirit of Friendship" global tour in July/August 2002.

He is a business aircraft brand ambassador for Learjet, Challenger and Global jets for the world's leading business aircraft manufacturer, Bombardier and flew the 707 to New Orleans after the 2005 hurricane disaster bringing food and medical supplies, and in 2010, again flew the 707, this time to Haiti after the earthquake, carrying supplies, doctors and volunteers.

John and with his wife, actress Kelly Preston is also very involved in their charity, The Jett Travolta Foundation, which raises money for children with educational needs.
