The sale of 2017 Kennedy half dollar coins will begin on 22nd February. The coins are struck in circulating finish from the Denver Mint and the Philadelphia Mint that have never been circulated before. They would feature "P" (Philadelphia) or "D" (Denver) mint marks and "$10" for its face value.

The obverse features the 1964 design of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy along with the inscriptions "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and "2017." The reverse features a heraldic eagle with a shield holding an olive branch and a bundle of 13 arrows. A ring of 50 stars, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," and "HALF DOLLAR" are also inscribed. The coins are also available in exclusive bags and rolls.
