It was officially declared by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) that on 2nd February 2017 that the sale of 2017 Happy Birthday Currency Note, featuring a Series 2013 $1 note with a serial number beginning with “2017xxxx” will start. The note comes in an acid-free polymer sleeve enclosed within a folder and costs $5.95. More information about the note can be obtained from bep.gov.
