Treasury Secretary-designate Jacob Lew’s real signature was not that great and hence had to be changed so that they could be used on Federal Reserve notes. His original signature is a scribble which is not in English. If this signature was to appear on currency, they would resemble coinage of Ottoman Empire. The signature was changed to a more readable version on his latest financial disclosure forms. If he is confirmed, which of his signature will appear on banknotes is still a mystery.
