The Royal Mail is going to introduce new stamps in the Racehorse Legends set on 6th April. The stamps will b e featuring four flat racers and four national hunt horses that won on UK race courses in the last 60 years. The winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 1989, the Desert “Dessie” Orchid will be featured in action on one of the stamps.

It is very rare for countries to issue stamps on such unique themes. If you love collecting stamps featuring animals on them then this one will be special to you!
