The Colossal Squid has been mentioned in several folklores since many years and is often referred as the Kraken. As per the legends, they attack men and emit a foul stench that escapes from its lungs.

In reality, the Colossal Squid does not really emit such a ‘foul’. The squid can grow up to 14m in length and weigh up to 750kg. It also has the largest documented eye in the animal kingdom with a diameter of 30 cm.
